Halloween party “Dragoween“ with the Magic Garage, 12 performances and DJ
On 31 October, the MagicGarage drag collective from Salzburg will once again transform the Jazzit music club into the most glamorous chamber of horrors in the city. ‘The Jazzit Chainsaw Mascara’ is the motto of this year’s MagicGarage Halloween Party. The person who came up with this pun must be a very creative free spirit. At the entrance, Frankenstein’s monster in high heels and a pink handbag comes towards you. Frank N Further from the musical The Rocky Horror Show sings about erotic nightmares and sensual daydreams. And if you’re not careful, a doll called Chucky, almost life-sized, will suddenly be standing behind you with a knife.
Even at Halloween, the performers of the drag collective will not be deterred from captivating the audience with their eerily beautiful performances. Just like last year, the performances tell a common horror story, with a common thread running through the entire evening programme. A total of 12 performers plus DJ Candy Coxxx will be on stage.
If you are particularly proud of your costume-changing skills, you should definitely take part in the in-house costume contest. Whether creepy, disturbing, sexy or a combination of everything – great prizes await the winners. This year, there will also be a photo wall where you can create memories of the scariest of all days with the help of additional props. So, the Halloween plan is clear: on 31 October, don your sexiest scary costume and make your friends’ hearts beat faster in one way or another. Happy Drag-O-Ween!
Doors open at 8:30 p.m., show starts at 9:30 p.m. Advance sales 20€, door 24€. Tickets for the show are available on the website QueKuSa.
