A night between electro & Mussorgsky, techno & soprano, wounds & wonders. Electronic music at the Salzburg Easter Festival.

The ‘Electronic Music’ section has been part of the Salzburg Easter Festival since 2023. On 17 April, the Szene Salzburg will be dedicated to the art of electronic music with master DJ Cambis Sharegh. Unfortunately, he passed away last November. So this evening is dedicated to him and his art. DJ Alma, the singer Sogoli Livani and the two Munich DJ legends ‘Milk & Sugar’ will continue Cambis’ work under the motto “Wounds & Wonders”. “Wounds & Wonders” is the motto of this year’s Salzburg Easter Festival.

DJ Alma says on the Easter Festival’s website: ’In my opinion, electronic music is like classical, symphonic music. It can tell a story without language, without singing, and send us on an emotional journey. Each track is a separate, little journey in itself. A DJ set is the connection of all these little journeys to a big, to an entire journey…’
