Kick-off party for the Pride Festival Salzburg 2025: Jazzit Pride Clubbing
On 30 August, the Salzburg Pride Festival programme will feature a special premiere. ‘Pride Clubbing bei Nachtmusik’ is the title of the clubbing night at Salzburg’s famous jazz venue Jazzit. The music for dancing will be provided by the Salzburg-based DJ collective Nachtmusik, which was founded in 2022 and currently consists of four artists. The dance floor will open to everyone at 8 p.m. Before that, however, the dance floor will be warmed up with a special performance taking place shortly before the clubbing starts. Unfortunately, the nature of the performance is still a secret and will remain so until the event. Jazzit is already a household name in Salzburg’s queer scene. The somewhat seedy jazz club has hosted major performances by the drag collective Magic Garage. And two years ago, the venue was the setting for the Pride Poetry Slam.(sb)
