Magic Cabaret at the Toihaus
Magic Cabaret brings entertainment from the 1920s to the 1950s with a queer twist.
Inspired by the flair of cabaret, six experienced drag performers bring the charm of the cabaret format to Salzburg. With plenty of fanfare, glitter and a touch of mischief, they combine burlesque – the perfect complement to cabaret – with queer narratives. Then as now, burlesque stands for provocative sensuality, satire and great entertainment, which the drag artists of the Magic Cabaret emphasise with their outfits and performances on stage. (sb)
