Queer film night for Pride Festival 2026
A film screening as part of the 2026 Pride Festival, featuring the film “What a Feeling”
On 1 September, Das Kino, in collaboration with HOSI Salzburg, will be screening the film “What a feeling” by Austrian director Katharina Rohrer.
The film tells the story of the Viennese doctor Marie Theres. After learning that her husband wants a divorce, she stumbles into “Bigis Lesbenbar” drunk after a few drinks. There she meets regular customer Fa, who introduces her to a whole new world and completely turns Marie’s feelings upside down. A film about “self-discovery, the courage to make a fresh start and to make decisions that feel right, no matter what others say,” says director Rohrer.
Tickets for the Pride Film Night are available at the box office at Das Kino.
