Workshop on right-wing extremism and how to deal with it: Right-wing extremism under the microscope.
As part of the Pride Festival, HOSI Salzburg, in collaboration with Dokumentation Obersalzburg, is hosting the workshop “Right-wing extremism under the microscope” on 31 August at HOSI Salzburg. This workshop takes an in-depth look at the root causes of right-wing extremist movements. Participants will explore the various forms of right-wing extremism and its outward signs. The workshop will cover right-wing extremist expressions in politics, fashion, music and on social media.
The aim is to build a comprehensive understanding of right-wing extremist trends, codes and attitudes. The ability to conduct independent research will be encouraged, and personal strategies and options for action will be strengthened. These are important skills, particularly in these polarised times and in the world of mass media and deepfakes. To register for the workshop, please email: pride@hosi.or.at
