Christmas market in the medieval old town of Salzburg
Salzburg’s Christkindlmarkt is a winter wonderland in the medieval old town of Salzburg. Advent caroling in the Festspielhaus, tower blowing and Krampuslauf are historic customs that create a romantic Christmas atmosphere with mulled wine, punch, roasted almonds and stalls with Christmas crafts. Maybe the weather will play along and bring the first snow. And who knows: maybe the HOSI Salzburg will be holding a punch stall at the Alter Markt again this year.
