Silent Disco with Gigi LaPajette: Drag party with headphones and performances

It’s catchy. Literally. This year, Salzburg’s drag queen Gigi La Pajette is hosting a new edition of her silent disco with her drag friends and music to lip-sync performances. Last year, GaySalzburg.at covered the new event in Salzburg for the Salzburg Queer Update. This year, the restaurant Furo is once again the location for Gigi’s Silent Disco.

At the entrance you will be given headphones. With them you can switch between different live DJs. So, for example, your friend can enjoy a quiet beat while you dance wildly to techno. Everyone has the opportunity to listen to what they want. And at their own volume. So nothing stands in the way of a personalised disco experience. It gets funny when you take off your headphones to order something at the bar, for example. Then you find yourself in a completely quiet space between celebrating people. The drag queens will also be at the Silent Disco, performing with headphones on, lip-syncing to the DJs’ music. A special disco with glamorous show acts on 17 May in Salzburg.

If you can’t make it in May, don’t despair. There will be another chance to party with the drag queens at the Silent Disco Party at Furo on 18 October. (sb)
