Salzburg Ballet meets ballet star Friedemann Vogel
With Friedemann Vogel, the internationally acclaimed star soloist of the Stuttgart Ballet, the Salzburg Landestheater is set to host an extraordinary performance day: under the banner ‘Salzburg Ballet meets Friedemann Vogel’, two choreographic works come together that explore the human condition at the intersection of body, consciousness and time. Drawing on Heinrich von Kleist’s essay “On the Marionette Theatre”, the performance on Saturday 5 September explores questions of grace, control and freedom. The second part (on Sunday 6 September at 11 am) features Maurice Ravel’s “Boléro”, choreographed by Yonggeol Kim.
