HOSI Salzburg
The Homosexual Initiative (HOSI) Salzburg is a non-profit association that has been working for social acceptance and legal equality of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex people for 40 years. Among other things, the HOSI Salzburg organises numerous events, for example the HOSI Festival four times a year.
After 13 years at its old location at Gabelsberger Straße 26 on the edge of the Andräviertel district, HOSI Salzburg has been based at the bustling Franz-Josef-Straße 22 since the beginning of December. Modern rooms and furnishings and plenty of visibility for the work of HOSI Salzburg. Events take place here throughout the week, and this is also where the HOSI Bar is located, a meeting place for the city's queer community on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
