Halloween in Salzburg 2025
The cult holiday Halloween has now also arrived in Mozart’s city. With a variety of events ranging from a big Halloween rave to a spooky organ concert to the creepy-glamorous show at the Magic Garage: that’s Halloween in Salzburg in 2025.
Enter the Lab Halloween Rave
We start with the big Halloween rave ‘Enter the Lab’ by the record label ‘P LAB Recordings’. New and established artists will perform techno and drum & bass on both stages of the ARGE Kultur. Salzburg-based ‘P LAB Recordings’ has been thrilling audiences for 10 years now. On 31 October, they will return to the renowned ARGE Kultur, which has become an integral part of Salzburg’s queer scene thanks to the HOSI festivals and the ARGE Show by Magic Garage. Organ at Halloween
The organ has always had a spooky element to it, hasn’t it? Just think of the organ music in classics such as Dracula, The Phantom of the Opera or Nosferatu. An organ concert on 31 October fits the mood of this eerie evening. ‘Organ for Halloween’ is the title of the concert at the Mozarteum Foundation, and there will be two performances that evening – at 9 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. Organist Hannfried Lucke will transport us into a mysterious world of sound with his organ music, creating a special Halloween experience. Magic Garage „House of Wigs”
Things are set to get spooky and glamorous at the Magic Garage’s Halloween Drag Party at the infamous Jazzit. This year’s theme is ‘House of Wigs’, inspired by the cult horror classic ‘House of Wax’. The artists of the Salzburg Drag Collective will transform the wicked jazz club into an abandoned beauty salon where wigs come to life, lipsticks whisper and every performance draws you deeper into its spell. For the fourth time, Magic Garage will whisk people away into the world of High Heel Halloween on 31 October. Whether it’s dark raves, majestic organ music or glittering drag horror, Salzburg will be showing its most creative side this Halloween 2025. So if you’re in the mood for goosebumps, glitter and good music, mark 31st October in blood red on your calendar.

Priscilla – Queen of the Desert
The film and musical ‘Priscilla – Queen of the Desert’ tell the story of two drag queens, Mitzi and Felicia, and a trans woman, Bernadette, who travel through the Australian outback in an ageing bus called ‘Priscilla’ to put on a show in Alice Springs. That was the Pride Parade Salzburg 2025
Yesterday (6 September), the big CSD parade marched from Salzburg Central Station to Nonntal University. What made this year special was that, for the first time, the mayor of Salzburg gave a welcoming speech at the start of the parade, emphasising the city's solidarity with its queer population.
