This Pride Night last Saturday (7 September) must have been the best-attended HOSI festival ever. So full, so colourful and such a great atmosphere – at all levels: That was Pride Night Salzburg 2024

The HOSI Pride festival was a good reflection of the diversity of the queer scene in the province of Salzburg. All groups, preferences and inclinations were represented – the party had an enormous buzz.

The show act on the big stage was fascinating. A 75-year-old entertained the predominantly young audience as Germany’s longest-serving drag queen. France Delon captivated the crowd with her charm and dry humour.

Alldiweil rocked DJ Ambjörn Söderberg from Oslo, the fetish clubbing with his darkroom sounds in the basement. This time unfortunately without a large screen, but that did not detract from the mangy charm of this location.

Hotel Salzburg

The ARGE Beisl, with its wonderful beer garden, which had probably recently been extended, was also a great place to sit back and relax. In any case, it was a chilled retreat from the enormous background noise of this top-class pride party, which may have written history in the queer scene in Salzburg. Salzburg Queer Update

Saturday 21 April 2026 is the perfect day for a stroll and a spot of shopping – most people have the day off. Salzburg’s Old Town provides the ideal setting for this. She had affairs with both men and women while she was married to her husband. Now the Salzburg State Theatre is bringing "Frida's World" to the stage as a ballet from October.

That was the Pride Parade Salzburg 2024

The Salzburg Pride Festival, which ended the day before yesterday (7.09.), once again highlighted the enormous progress in the exchange that the city's queer community now has with Salzburg's urban society. However, the Pride parade also expressed concern about the outcome of the national elections in Austria on 29 September.
